We support you in the conformity assessment procedure according to the Machinery Directive and the Low Voltage Directive
Every machine that is placed on the European market must be developed and built in accordance with the relevant EU directives and regulations. Each directive specifies which of the seven possible procedures (modules) can be used to test and determine conformity with the respective directive.
Compliance with all requirements of the applicable directives must then be certified by means of a declaration of conformity. The responsibility for this lies solely with the person placing a machine on the market.
Before placing a machine on the market, it is always necessary to check which directives and regulations apply. This can usually be found in the scope of application and exclusion of a directive/regulation.
For most machines, the Machinery Directive and the Low Voltage Directive apply. However, other directives may also apply depending on the design, intended use and/or elements included. This must always be determined on a case-by-case basis.
If the scope of a directive or regulation applies to the respective machine and is not excluded from the scope of this directive, all requirements of the directive must be met and compliance with the requirement must be certified in the declaration of conformity.
We check for you which directives and regulations apply to your product and help you to comply with the respective requirements. We support you throughout the entire conformity assessment process and at the end we create a legally secure declaration of conformity for your product that is ready for signature.
We would be happy to arrange an appointment for a free initial consultation and discuss requirements, options and solutions with you.
