Risk assessment
For machines placed on the market in the EU, a comprehensive risk assessment must be carried out in accordance with EN ISO 12100 and documented in accordance with ISO/TR 14121. We will be happy to carry out this risk assessment for you and provide you with the necessary documents.
Declaration of conformity
Every machine used in the EU requires a declaration from the manufacturer that the machine complies with all applicable EU directives and regulations. We will be happy to help you prepare this and provide you with comprehensive advice.

About Us
The company Cobot Safety UG was founded in 2022 by Andreas Schunkert and has been active globally as a company in the field of machine safety since then. Andreas Schunkert is an EU certified expert for machine safety and a senior member of the Federal Association of German Experts. He is a globally recognized expert in machine safety and safety in robotics. He is an active member of the ISO Technical Committee 299 (Robotics) and works there as an expert on various ISO standards for robotics (e.g. ISO 10218, ISO 13482, ISO/TS 15066).
Conformity assessment
Every machine manufacturer is legally obliged to build their machine in accordance with applicable EU directives and regulations. Compliance with all applicable directives must ultimately be determined through a specified conformity assessment procedure and then confirmed by means of a declaration of conformity.
Risk assessment
As a rule, a comprehensive risk assessment in accordance with EN ISO 12100 is always part of the conformity assessment. All potential hazards must be analyzed and evaluated. If the risk resulting from the hazard is too high, measures must be taken to reduce it.
